Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and structured Process Documentation Specialist to capture, formalize, and maintain our software development processes.
This person will work closely with engineering leads, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our ways of working are well- documented, clear, and actionable. The goal is to create a consistent and accessible knowledge base that supports efficiency, alignment, and scalability across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Document and maintain end-to-end software development processes, including coding standards, branching strategies, testing, release management, and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering managers, team leads, and product teams to gather insights and best practices.
- Translate complex technical workflows into clear, concise, and accessible documentation.
- Create visual aids (flowcharts, process maps, checklists, templates) to support understanding.
- Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date and version controlled.
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in current processes and propose improvements.
- Support onboarding by providing easy-to-use guides and playbooks for new hires.
- Maintain a central repository (e.g., Confluence, Notion, or Git-based documentation).
Qualifications
- Strong background in technical writing, process documentation, or software development.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other software development methodologies.
- Ability to quickly understand and structure complex technical processes.
- Excellent written communication skills with attention to clarity and detail.
- Experience with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Notion, Markdown, Git-based wikis).
- Visual documentation skills (e.g., Lucidchart, Miro, Draw.io) are a plus.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams.
- Proficiency in English language (B2+/C1 level).

- Documentation is consistently updated and reflects how teams actually work.
- New employees can onboard faster and more effectively using documented processes.
- Reduced misunderstandings and inefficiencies due to lack of clarity.

- Long-term cooperation (2+ years);
- Type of contract: B2B;
- Rate: up to 150 PLN net per hour,
- Start: ASAP - 1 month (possibility to start later).
