Role: Supply Chain Co-ordinator
Location: Tymianka, Poland
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Co-Ordinator to join our team in Poland. This role is critical in ensuring efficiency within Western Global’s international supply chain. In this role, you will have responsibility for coordinating production schedules for key suppliers, coordinating shipments to internal customers, and processing data in ERP system for Western Global’s Distribution Centre in Poland. You will ensure that Production is planned in accordance with facility capacity and aligned with customer needs.

The Role:
You will take the lead at the key decision interfaces between Internal Customers, Production, Material Planning & Logistics. You will maximise the cost efficiency of the facility through effective planning, and by using your excellent communication skills you will ensure stakeholders within the facility are provided with timely information that is accurately reflected in the planning system. You will be expected to manage conflicting needs and be able to find mutually agreeable solutions that deliver on quality, cost and delivery performance indicators. You will be expected to balance appropriate pressure on production whilst also being able to push back professionally to all stakeholders; finding viable solutions when issues arise. You will be comfortable working with ambiguity and be confident to deploy your highly effective decision making skills to overcome issues where courses of action or impacts cannot be clearly defined. Judgement and decision making will be critical to success.
You will be conversant with standard ERP planning methodology (e.g. min/max planning, EOQ, ATP, Due Dates, Purchase Order, Sales Order structures, and master data), and have a good understanding of planning principles and logistics.
Key Responsibilities of this Position:
At Facility Level
- Create production schedules and purchase orders in ERP system (NetSuite).
- Manage the Internal Sales Order Process.
- Lead the interface between Internal Customers, Material Planning, Production & Logistics.
- Liaise with Production for day to day planning of Workshop jobs.
- Coordinate with Production for low volume / project based orders.
- Liaise with internal customers for delivery lead times.
- Support Logistics Team in export/import documents.
- From time to time complete other duties as required by line management and cover absence where necessary.
Required Skills & Attributes:
- 2-4 years in a similar planning function, ideally from a manufacturing or assembly background
- Ideally with a background in NetSuite, but certainly proficient in ERP system usage.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Fluent in both verbal and written English is a must.
- A team player with excellent inter personal skills and able to build good working relationships.
- Able to work on own initiative.
- Good business acumen.
- A flexible approach, with a desire to learn and develop.
- Sensible and pragmatic.
