The Role: We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Contract Management to join us in our Poland based team. As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for supporting our clients business by drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts as part of a wider general support service to the client’s contracts management and in-house legal teams. Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate manufacturing and manufacturing-related agreements (including but not limited to supply agreements, logistics services agreements, development and technology transfer agreements and contract manufacturing agreements), working autonomously and as part of the dedicated contract team supporting a global client.
- Collaborate and work closely with client stakeholders, including the client Legal Team, Procurement, QA, Insurance, and Privacy.
- Develop and maintain contract templates and guidance documents
- Proactively manage contract caseloads and ensure compliance with delivery standards and timelines. Maintain accurate contract data in both Factor and client systems.
- Identify patterns in contracting work (with AI assistance when possible), proactively bring to the client to discuss and propose new template language and/or fallback language or negotiation positions.
- Assist in improvement and enhancing process efficiency, reduce time to contract and negotiation turns.Recommend and implement new ways of working and contribute to contract process transformation.
- Assist client Legal team in dispute resolution with external partners by providing contract analysis and risk assessment, if required.
- Ensure all activities align with client internal policies and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with, support and guide junior legal professionals; serve as a point of escalation.
- Foster strong relationships with client stakeholders and contribute to ongoing value delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Legally eligible to work in Poland.
- Qualification as a lawyer or equivalent of work experience in the legal industry - experience in law firms, ALSPs, or in-house legal in pharma company/procurement teams or CRO.
- 8+ years of legal experience focused on procurement agreements in pharmaceutical environment as well as pharmaceutical manufacturing agreements, logistics and SaaS agreements.
- Familiarity with international manufacturing and supply chain contracts and manufacturing business processes and terms. Awareness of IP issues related to pharma manufacturing.
- Commercially aware with a good understanding of budgets and financial implications.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with sharp attention to detail.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work independently with a strategic, solution-oriented mindset.
- Collaborative,practical, and proactive approach to problem solving and to facilitating changing stakeholder needs, whilst assessing risk at all times.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
