About This Role:
As a Purchasing Intern, you will join the dynamic Purchasing team within the Procurement department, playing a crucial role in the request to purchase order process. This internship offers a unique opportunity for those eager to gain hands-on experience in Procurement, utilizing tools like ServiceNow, Oracle, and Scout/Workday Sourcing. You will be responsible for responding to stakeholders via ServiceNow, executing Purchase Order changes in Oracle, and engaging in various ad hoc tasks alongside Purchasing Analysts. The role provides exposure to compliance activities, such as verifying purchases against vendor contracts, offering invaluable experience in procurement operations. This position is integral to ensuring smooth procurement processes and enhancing departmental efficiencies.
What You’ll Do:
Provide solutions to end users through ServiceNow ticketing system, emails, Teams chat, and calls.
Issue and manage Purchase Orders in the Oracle system.
Support ad hoc requests from Purchasing Analysts and the Purchasing Manager.
Review internal documentation to ensure accuracy and suggest improvements.
Address technical and process issues with team support, providing timely solutions.
Respond to stakeholders in the ServiceNow ticket management tool.
Perform PO changes and closures in Oracle.
Create and submit purchase requisitions, ensuring alignment with contract payment terms/schedules.
Maintain vendor management documentation for audit requests.
Collaborate with sourcing, finance, and vendors to reconcile purchase orders and invoices.
Support the Purchasing team in process documentation and training activities.
Establish strong partnerships with legal, finance, procurement, business stakeholders, and suppliers.

This is a paid 6-month internship starting in October , of maximum 32 hours per week .
Candidates must be current students or recent graduates and eligible to work in Poland .
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, etc.).
Professional fluency in English.
Comfortable working with customers, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
Intermediate or above skills in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to navigate multitasking environments effectively.
Communicative, organized, and accountable.
An international and inclusive mindset.
Preferred Skills:
Experience utilizing ERP systems such as Oracle.
Experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
