What you’ll do:
- Serve as resource for buyers and internal departments to resolve cross-functional or operational issues and represents Strategic Procurement to meet department objectives as required.
- Serve as a first point of contact for more sophisticated queries and cases in area of direct procurement.
- Reconcile and resolves systems issues on a daily basis. Determines root cause and leads necessary changes to resolve buyers’ issues or internal performance issues.
- Coordinate and delegates transactional and tactical activities between Buying Assistant and stakeholders as appropriate.
- Responsible for daily workload assignment
- Recommend, initiate and implement process improvements to improve productivity and customer service.
- Prepare and sends out communication regarding process changes.
- Update procedures on regular basis.
- Educate buyers and customers on Amway processes and systems.
- Attend or initiates buyers’ meetings as required to support process improvements or resolve operational issues.
- Maintains accuracy of systems data.
- Run audits, produces reports and analyses. Responsible for calculation of monthly KPIs
What you’ll need:
- 2+ years in accountancy/finance or Supply Chain or related area
- Educational background in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related area
- Good knowledge of the organization's existing systems and the ability to handle most standard issues independently
- Proficiency in principles and practices in given area.
- Very good language skills in English
- Practical knowledge of MS office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience with ERP accounting systems (e.g., Oracle and JDE) will be an asset
- Knowledge on supply chain will be an asset
