What’s the role?
As a Delivery Scheduler you will be responsible to create schedules for truck deliveries in order to ensure timely and economical product delivery to Retail sites and B2B customers through the Order to delivery process
Responsibilities:
Create and optimize an accurate, cost effective and timely delivery plan.
Ensure Supply and product availability issues are reflected in scheduling system set-up.
Allocate orders to trucks.
Liaise with other teams that contribute to the Order to Delivery process.
Handle customer enquiries to change/amend orders, evaluate the real need and feasibility for scheduling changes, and liaise with scheduling team where appropriate.
Receive urgent order requests and create urgent orders within framework of delivery promise.
Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
Requirements:
English min. B2.
Customer service experience.
Logistics and road delivery operations experience will be additional asset.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to cooperate with other cross-functional teams and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Quick learner of new IT tools.
Familiarity with Scheduling Systems will be beneficial.
