As our Product Plus Specialist, you will play a key role in expanding our product offering beyond the standard RS range, ensuring we can always meet our customers’ project needs. This unique service not only strengthens customer loyalty but also drives commercial growth and supplier partnerships.
In this role, you will be at the centre of sourcing strategies, supplier performance analysis, and the full procure-to-pay process. You’ll manage a lean pipeline of customers requiring non-core products, positioning RS as a strategic procurement partner while driving efficiency and reducing manual orders.
Working closely with the Sales Director EE and Product Supplier Manager EE, you’ll combine commercial acumen with operational excellence to increase customer spend, improve conversion rates, and deliver continuous improvements. With a can-do attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment, you will directly contribute to RS’s mission of offering smarter, more convenient shopping experiences.
What you will enjoy doing to be successful in this role:
In this role, you will support and drive Eastern Europe Sales by aligning your activities with sales strategies and objectives, working effectively through joint account planning. You will provide insights into customers’ purchasing patterns and offer recommendations on how these can be optimised. By proactively supporting internal and external efforts, you will help consolidate customer purchases and report on both existing and future consolidation initiatives.
You will use current and potential account performance to evaluate and prioritise your activities, making informed, commercially driven decisions about whether to proceed with or decline implementation opportunities for RS Product Plus. Supporting customers and sales teams throughout the end-to-end process of consolidated procurement will be a key part of your work.
Adopting a consultative approach, you will position RS Product Plus in a way that builds value in the customer’s mind and creates a competitive advantage. You will establish a strong understanding of the benefits of consolidated procurement, showing genuine interest in and empathy for the customer’s procurement needs, challenges, and objectives.
You will effectively utilise and coordinate internal resources to deliver projects and achieve targets while supporting user engagement that drives channel compliance and sales growth. Continually, you will identify opportunities to profitably grow the business and improve efficiency, while acting as the voice of the customer to feed insights into both local and global development agendas.
If you have the following skills and experience, we want to hear from you:
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Knowledge of MRO procurement strategy, eProcurement, or inventory solutions.
- Strong business planning and project management capabilities.
- Experience in developing and implementing customer-focused solutions.
- Ability to analyse data and customer purchasing patterns to identify opportunities.
- Fluent in English and Polish.
