This role joins the Global T&E Team in the processing and reconciliation of travel & expense reimbursements.

We are seeking a customer-focused individual who solves problems, leverages technology, and supports business goals effectively. Provides timely, courteous user support, collaborates well in teams, and gains expertise in travel and expense policies.
As a Travel Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Auditing employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.
- Using expense management technology, such as SAP Concur and AI software (Appzen)
- Supporting the corporate card and travel management functions to solve issues and improve processes.
- Generating reports to evaluate trends and spend patterns
- Understanding and ensuring compliance with Akamai's Travel and Expense policies
- Responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly to facilitate timely processing of expense report payments.
- Supporting the local corporate card program for Poland and occasionally within the European region.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have ability to analyze travel expense trends and metrics.
- Have experience in travel and expense management or relevant Finance exposure.
- Have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Have previously used expense technology, eg SAP Concur.
- Have a solid understanding of travel and expense lifecycle from transact to reimbursements/payments
- Be proficient in MS Office Tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Be comfortable with oral presentations in meetings to colleagues and to leadership
