Junior Reporting Analyst, Reporting Center, Poznań
Role overview
The primary responsibility of the Reporting Center Team is to identify business needs and implement various reports that support all Carlsberg entities in Western Europe, thereby informing their business decisions. The Reporting Center Team is maintaining Front End reporting using the Power BI solution to visualize results, track performance, etc. The Reporting Center Team is a crucial link between functional finance colleagues and IT. In this role, you will collaborate with various individuals and transform reporting designs into actionable reports that drive business value. The collaborative part of the role can be adjusted based on the interest of applicant to also be a bigger part of the role.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing, testing, and supporting new Reports and Dashboards designed following standard design principles and conventions
- Maintaining existing reports and supporting the implementation of new solutions
- Supporting Business in identifying potential reporting and analysis needs
- Solving detected technical issues in reporting and establishing missing functionalities
- Working closely with various stakeholders
- Creating and maintaining required documentation
- Communicating risks and issues within reporting areas
What we’re looking for
We're looking for a colleague who:
- Has relevant technical experience working with Power BI or similar reporting tools; knowledge about DAX will be beneficial
- Has a good understanding of the technical aspects of processes/reports, like data models and report structure, typical problems in environments, limitations, and capabilities in particular technologies
- Has a University Degree or experience in a relevant area
- Has a very good command of written and spoken English
- Presents great ability to break down a problem into logically smaller, manageable parts to solve; creative in seeking solutions
- Is good at communication and building relations among different groups of people, groups of interest, with a solid service mentality
- Can assess new ideas and provide solutions
- Can work effectively alone and within teams with a practical approach
- Has a solid interest in growing their technology skills
- Knowledge in the field of Azure Synapse and PySpark would be beneficial
