About the Role
As a Central Distribution Center Professional, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the partnership with our distribution partner, to ensure a cost-efficient, compliant, and agile service. This position combines operational responsibilities with process improvement initiatives, requiring you to manage operative tasks and identify root causes of arising issues, implement solutions, and ensure they don’t happen again. You will act as the first point of contact for operational escalations, while also driving system and process improvements to support LEO Pharma’s global strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day collaboration and operations with central warehouse.
- Keeping stocks up to date and correct cross systems
- Oversee forecasting, inventory capacity and prioritization alignments.
- Ensure alignment of KPIs and service levels.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and implement preventive measures.
- Analyse and improve processes to eliminate inefficiencies.
- Drive process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Act as the first point of contact for operational escalations.
Key Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Strong experience in logistics, warehousing, or inventory management.
- Proven track record in process improvements and root cause analysis.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and systems.
- Proficiency in Excel (must-have) and familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems (nice-to-have).
- Ability to identify and resolve system gaps and inefficiencies.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Dangerous goods awareness and serialization experience (nice-to-have).
- IT background or system-oriented mindset is a plus.
About the Team
You will join a diverse and collaborative team, working closely with shipping coordinators, logistics managers, and other stakeholders. While this is an independent role, your work will have a significant impact on the delivery process, ensuring smooth operations and accurate data alignment. The team is focused on continuous improvement, and you will play a key role in identifying and resolving system mismatches, setting priorities, and driving operational excellence.
This role offers a mix of operational tasks (2-3 days per week) and developmental opportunities focused on process and system improvements.
