What tasks await you?
- Managing complex, international projects in the area of IT strategic sourcing in Europe
- Steering the development of IT sourcing strategies in the given strategic context of DT
- Working with senior stakeholders to develop solutions and run or facilitate projects, particularly in area of license optimization, strategic sourcing, people development and overall IT efficiencies
- Maintaining a professional relationship with key suppliers and identifying future opportunities and future risks
- Building and establishing communities in DT affiliated organizations and supporting local experts
- Driving a data-driven approach to collect and analyze data from various sources and determine business-relevant actionable conclusions
- Evaluating, communicating, and mitigating risks or issues
- Initiating improvements to optimize project processes, activities, and systems
What skills will be appreciated?
- University degree or comparable vocational training with long-time job experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years track record in a large, multi-national organization:
- Global - International experience with the necessary cultural awareness and respect
- Execution experience in a large-scale organization- telco industry preferred
- Proven track record in a similar position, supported by management and customer references
- Managing infrastructure transformation/migration/cloudification experience (not mandatory)
- Extensive knowledge of IT (applications and cloud/infrastructure) and Telecommunication (highly welcomed) industry, market, trends, technologies and key players
- Pragmatic - balanced approach to management combining strategic planning, operational excellence and flawless execution
- Consensus-building -> capable of utilizing strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with subordinates, colleagues and executive management
- Results Driven - confident, thrives on hard work and consistent challenge. Monitors quantitative progress measures and acts quickly on deviations from plan
- Communicative – can express not just verbally, but also communicate through PowerPoint
- Analytical – can structure data in Excel or PowerBI and define needed data structures and methodologies
- Self-driven attitude and behavior
- Willingness to travel (internationally)
- Fluency in English
