We are looking for a passionate and experienced ESG reporting professional to help drive sustainability at RONAL. This exciting opportunity is based at one of our Polish sites - Wałbrzych or Jelcz-Laskowice - where you'll play a key role in shaping transparent and impactful ESG communication across the group.

Sustainability Reporting Specialist

You don’t just want to support sustainability – you want to shape it?
As a Sustainability Reporting Specialist, you will play a key role in building and advancing our group-wide sustainability reporting in line with the CSRD. Working closely with subject matter experts and our international sites, you will bring transparency, structure, and substance to our ESG activities – making a direct contribution to the strategic development of our company.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish and further develop group-wide sustainability reporting in accordance with CSRD and ESRS
  • Prepare the company’s annual sustainability report
  • Conduct and regularly update the double materiality assessment in line with ESRS requirements
  • Evaluate data availability, coordinate data collection, and prepare the necessary data foundation for reporting
  • Preparation of report content in collaboration with colleagues from divisions, production sites, and specialist departments; assume editorial responsibility
  • Responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of the external audit review
  • Monitor regulatory developments in reporting (e.g., CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, and relevant parts of the Swiss Code of Obligations) and implement necessary changes
  • Take ownership of the company’s participation in ESG ratings (e.g., EcoVadis)
  • Regularly benchmark sustainability communication practices and coordinate improvement measures with internal stakeholders
YOUR PROFILE
  • University degree in business, environmental or social sciences, or a comparable field
  • Solid experience in sustainability reporting – ideally according to GRI and/or already ESRS frameworks
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, particularly CSRD, ESRS, and the EU Taxonomy
  • Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • Excellent and eloquent communication and writing skills in English; German or other languages are a strong plus
  • Independent, structured, and forward-thinking working style
  • Confident in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and strong sense of quality
  • Experience with ESG software tools or BI/reporting solutions is a plus
