Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sustainability Expert to join our team as a Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) & Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Process Manager. In this role, you will lead the LCA and EPD processes across the entire region, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and driving sustainability initiatives. You will also collaborate closely with our Production & Manufacturing teams to embed sustainable practices into our operations.
What should you do?
- LCA & EPD Management:
Lead and manage the Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) processes for all products and services in the region; Develop and maintain LCA models and databases to assess the environmental impact of products throughout their lifecycle; Ensure compliance with international standards and regulations related to LCA and EPD.
- Collaboration with Production & Manufacturing:
Work closely with Production & Manufacturing teams to integrate sustainability principles into product design, development, and manufacturing processes; Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and improve resource efficiency in production; Provide technical guidance and training to cross-functional teams on sustainability practices.
- Sustainability Strategy & Reporting:
Contribute to the development and implementation of KEAST’s regional sustainability strategy; Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, including carbon footprint, energy efficiency, and waste reduction; Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in sustainability and environmental management.
What skills & capabilities are needed?
- Fluent command of English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) processes.
- Strong knowledge of sustainability standards, tools, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 14040/44, GHG Protocol, SimaPro, GaBi).
- Experience working in or collaborating with Production & Manufacturing teams.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
