Finance are recruiting for a Financial Controller to support the continued development and ongoing compliance with mandatory disclosures and reporting requirements, especially as per part 8 of the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR), the EU Taxonomy Regulation, CSRD Directive and any other related ESG Directive.
The individual will work within the Sustainability Reporting & Disclosure Controller Team, collaborating with multiple groups to support the successful delivery of the SSEHG Group Disclosure Report in German and English.
Responsibilities
- Own the quarterly update of the selected parts of the annual Disclosure Report, annual EU Taxonomy, CSRD, and other ESG-related disclosures.
- Be responsible for processing of ESG data and contribute to the technical implementation in the Regulatory Reporting software.
- Implement ESG risk templates under Art. 499a CRR and support the development of EU Taxonomy and CSRD disclosure templates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency across overlapping sustainability-related disclosures.
- Contribute to the review of disclosures in German and English for consistency and clarity.
- Prepare materials for internal meetings and project updates.
- Assist in maintaining the control framework and validating data inputs, especially for new sustainability-related components.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Finance or Legal
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Financial or Regulatory Reporting, ideally in the area of EU Taxonomy and/ or Disclosure Reporting as per CRR Experience with ESG data, ideally processing for Regulatory Reporting purposes
- business fluent in English
- German will be an asset
- Knowledge of CRR and related Implementing Technical Standards
- Experience of working in a deadline driven controls focussed environment
- Experience in implementing regulatory requirements projects to successful completion.
