Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a Product Specialist at ABB Motion Services. Our service division consists of 150 professionals across the country. Motion Services division has the leading expertise in drives, motors and generators life cycle management.
As a Product Specialist, you will serve as the local product owner for selected service offerings, including ABB Ability Services for rotating machines, on-site product assessments at customer locations, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). You will support sales and operations, organize training sessions on solutions, and ensure pricing instructions and product materials are kept up to date. You will also be responsible for implementing new solutions in practice.
Additionally, you will provide sales support for the Spare Unit Service, including scope definition and pricing. You will act as the process owner and main user for selected tools and processes, such as agreement management, the quotation database, and equipment mapping.
You will collaborate closely with various internal functions, offering insights into both technical and commercial solutions.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Providing technical support for ABB Ability™ digital solutions for rotating machines, including sales support, installation assistance, maintenance of the installed base, training, and customer reporting
Supporting and developing ABB Spare Unit Service sales, including solution design and pricing
Acting as the local service product owner for Smart Fleet Audit and LCA
Serving as the main user and process owner for selected tools and processes
Developing and maintaining tools that support business functions
Supporting the screening and analysis of the installed base to identify long-term business opportunities
Qualifications for the role
- Demonstrated experience in business development, preferably within service sector
- Deep understanding of service business processes, including sales/quotation process, agreement management, and delivery
- Experience with motors and drives is an advantage
- Customer-focused and service-oriented mind-set
- Effective interpersonal skills; highly collaborative and capable of managing complexity and differing viewpoints
- Practical approach to work
- Creative mindset with a readiness to explore new ideas
- Understanding about how to utilize AI technologies
- Proficiency in Power Automate, PowerApps and Power BI
- Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field
