We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Payroll Team based in Gdańsk, Poland. You will work alongside an experienced international team responsible for multi-country payroll processing and support. Key Responsibilities
- Handle monthly payroll processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll execution in line with local statutory regulations.
- Provide day-to-day payroll operational support in collaboration with outsourced vendors to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries for your assigned business units.
- Prepare and verify master data inputs to payroll systems.
- Perform time file reconciliation and assist timekeepers in resolving discrepancies.
- Generate and submit accurate payroll-related files (e.g., bank transfers, statutory reports, deduction payments).
- Assist in inter-company billing and provide payroll costing reports for ledger controllers.
- Support audits by preparing necessary payroll data and documentation.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies with proper quality checks and internal controls.
- Collaborate on key payroll projects and initiatives as part of the Regional Payroll Team.
- Liaise with Corporate HR and Finance on payroll reporting and related requests.
- Provide cross-coverage support to other Payroll Specialists across the region.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in payroll, preferably within international companies (experience in a Shared Services environment is an advantage).
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations
- Excellent command of English (both written and verbal).
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP Celergo, Oracle, T&A systems).
- Ability to document and evaluate payroll processes clearly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and support colleagues proactively
