- Co-create the strategy Business Plan for Logistics Category (Road, Ocean, Air Transport, Partials) for Autoliv Europe locations
- Contributes to the development/review of global category strategies
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
- Co-create the strategy Business Plan for Logistics Category (Road, Ocean, Air Transport, Partials) for Autoliv Europe locations
- Contributes to the development/review of global category strategies.
- Prepare Requests for Quotes, analyze the quotes and negotiate contracts with logistics service providers for Autoliv Europe locations
- Ensure that all operational requirements are properly specified in sourcing documents and comply with Autoliv Logistics Standards
- Follow sourcing approval process and assure that all sourcing activities are compliant with Autoliv Indirect Purchasing Policy
- Prepare contracts and other sourcing documents for logistic service providers
- Actively drives sourcing projects to obtain assigned savings targets (market test, optimization, consolidation ect.)
- Update prices in Rate Management Tool
- Regular contact with key stakeholders (Logistics/SCM/Production Plants)
- Regular Contact with Key suppliers (Supplier Relations)
- Support TMS implementation in Autoliv from purchasing side
- Solving purchasing related problems (trusted advisor)
- Responsible for Forwarders Contracts, Price Lists, Fact Profiles, Certificates management
- Execute annual supplier assessment and evaluation
- Run optimization workshops with logistic service providers to improve transport cost
- Active part in Purchase Orders approval process
- Obeying company’s quality management system in line with the requirements of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
- Being active part during internal and external audits
If you have/are:
- Higher economical/technical/SCM education
- More than 3 years’ experience in Automotive or freight forwarding industry in Purchasing or Logistics
- Mandatory language skills – advance English
- Experience in international companies in the area of procurement or SCM
- Functional expertise in purchasing and supply chain
- Expertise in Transportation area (FTL/LTL/Milkruns/Groupage/FCL/LCL, Air/Partials)
- Experience in leading procurement projects
- Experience in making and maintaining business contacts
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent social skills
- Innovating mindset
- Very good analytical thinking and very good expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
- Very good communication and facilitation skills
- Capable to perform under pressure
- Willingness to travel up to demand
- Good understanding of transport cost including fuel prices index
- General understanding of Finance & Accounting principle
