We're on the hunt for an experienced a Director People Shared Service Center who sits within Global People Function team and is based in Warsaw, Poland. The role of the Director People Shared Service Center is to build, lead and continuously develop a global shared service center that provides effective back-end HR operations to support our business worldwide. A successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an excellent employee experience by ensuring consistent, high-quality HR services to managers and employees that enable productivity and business impact. A central part of the role is to drive harmonization, efficiency, and scalability across countries – leveraging process optimization, automation, and new ways of working. The role is accountable for service level delivery through effective leadership of the team, continuous improvement, and close collaboration with other functional areas.
What you’ll do at Elekta
The Director People Shared Service Center responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Establish, lead and grow the global People Shared Service Center, building sustainable capabilities, structure, and ways of working.
- Actively and proactively manage, coach, and develop the People Service Center team to ensure strong and reliable delivery with focus on quality, cost efficiency, and customer experience.
- Ensure a harmonized global delivery that are in line with the global People Function strategy.
- Identify and implement opportunities for optimization, automation, and digitalization to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Oversee payroll operations within the shared service scope, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Ensure that our record-keeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements, in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders.
- Create, implement and track KPIs for the People Service Center, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation in how services are delivered.

- Ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate and influence multiple stakeholder groups at all levels.
- Ability to think strategically whilst delivering operationally with a process orientation, analytic skills and data-driven working method.
- Pragmatic problems solving approach.
- Strong business acumen and financial understanding.
- Effective, clear and concise communication skills, with excellent ability to present complex data in simple and business orientated way.
What you bring:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably gained in a dynamic, matrix and change oriented global organization with process complexity
- University degree in Human Resources, Business administration, Economics or equivalent
- Experience of operating and leading an Employee Shared Services model particularly through transformation and change with a resilient mindset and focus on digitalization
- Excellent project management and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills including building capability within a team
- Experience working in MS Office and a wide range of global HR technology systems
