About the role:
As a Buyer – Indirect Procurement E&A you’ll join a fast-paced department that will require you to move with speed and agility. You will directly impact the experience of our distributor and staff alike, which are both key catalysts to fueling the growth of the company.
The department covers a large spectrum of indirect business sourcing needs and is involved in many projects and with many teams across the region. The scope is wide and varied and can include new projects on a regular basis.
In this role you will:
- Manage the various parts of supplier onboarding, ensuring that compliant and safe suppliers are supporting our business.
- Drive cost improvement through competitive RFP events.
- Manage regional IT sourcing; from IT services, telecoms, networks, software to hardware.
- Support with Global IT projects.
- Support, on an ad-hoc basis, other team projects; e.g. events, promotional items, printed items, sponsorships, logistics, travel, advertising, translation, HR, etc.
- Lead RFx and supplier negotiation strategies.
- Coordinate, align and communicate supplier negotiation and deal with internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate new supplier contracts and renegotiate existing contracts.
- Ensure timelines are met through soft project management.
- Manage the various parts of supplier onboarding, ensuring that compliant and safe suppliers are supporting our business.
- Drive cost improvement through competitive RFP events.
Our requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in strategic sourcing or other supply chain functions
- Bachelor’s degree or university degree, ideally Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finances, Industrial Engineering or related.
- Knowledge of Oracle Purchasing and iProcurement with an understanding of the Procurement and Sourcing fields.
- Solid judgment with ability to make calculated decisions.
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet tight timelines.
- Good English language skills.
