We’re currently looking for a Team Leader to join one of our accounting teams based in Gdynia. The ideal candidate is an ambitious, highly organized and hard-working professional, who combines accuracy and structure with a sense of humor and an open mind. Key Responsibilities
Leading the team whose responsibilities are:
- Preparing payments on the basis of vendor statements
- Debt collection and sending statements to Customers
- Validating procedural compliance and timely and accurate accounting
- Reconciliation of Trial Balance for one or number European subsidiaries
- Processing, execution and compliance of month end activities (month end closing, balance sheet accounts reconciliation, balance sheet review, manual journal vouchers including accruals and prepayments
Support other team members and team manager to respond to regular and ad hoc requests from finance and non-finance customers.
Support overall financial statement preparation by leading a team that executes accurate and timely completion of accounting activities in compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements;
Monthly Management Reporting according to the Company standard

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Education - Master degree within Finance - Accounting – Controlling
Professional License in Accounting would be an advantage
Preferably 3+ years of experience in different areas of AP, AR
Experience in leading small business teams
Good communication skills as well as team handling and delegation skills;
Flexibility and ability to work within dynamic environment
Very good English (speaking and writing)
Good computer skills: advanced Excel knowledge, accounting Applications, government reporting
Controlling and/or auditing experience (internal or external) would be an advantage
