Scope of responsibilities:
- Managing the company’s accounting books in accordance with the Accounting Act using Comarch Optima software
- Monitoring settlements with contractors, employees, the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), and the Tax Office
- Supervising the proper flow of purchase invoices
- Ongoing posting of purchase invoices
- Executing payments and reconciling bank statements
- Preparing and reviewing VAT, CIT, and WHT declarations
- Settling business travel expenses
- Preparing reports for the National Bank of Poland (NBP)
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including cash flow statements, statements of changes in equity, and deferred tax calculations
- Creating weekly payment plans and financial reports for the Management Board
- Cooperating with the finance team in terms of financial and tax results
- Contact with external auditors and participation in the audit of the company’s financial statements
Requirements:
- University degree in finance, accounting, or economics
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Very good knowledge of Comarch Optima software
- Strong understanding of current tax regulations and the Accounting Act
- Analytical thinking skills and the ability to work with large datasets
- Good organizational skills, accuracy, and commitment
- English language proficiency at B1 level
