Accountant (Record to Report)

What you’ll be doing

As an RtR Accountant, you’ll support our UK entity operations. As part of the Record to Report (R2R) process, you will help transform raw financial data into clear, accurate reports that support business decisions. This includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and contributing to monthly and annual closing activities. Your day-to-day will include:

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
• Handling prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, and depreciation calculations
• Conducting reconciliations (bank, intercompany, general ledger)
• Auditing financial documents and maintaining accurate records
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies
• Contributing to continuous improvement projects and process efficiency

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow. If you have some experience in Accounting, or you're transitioning from Accounts Payable (AP) or Accounts Receivable (AR) and looking to broaden your accounting skills, this could be your ideal next step. To be successful in this role, we expect that you bring with you:

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Accounting
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Proactive mindset and strong communication skills

In addition, it will be considered a plus if you:

• Have experience in an international, multicultural environment
• Speak other languages
• Are working towards or holding a qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or similar
