We’re seeking a dynamic Project Leader who excels at driving complex transformation and transition projects within the Indirect Procurement domain. In this role, you will lead initiatives that streamline and harmonize processes related to Indirect Procurement across a global organization. Job Description
As a Project Leader, you will:
- Lead end-to-end transformation projects specifically targeting standardization and centralization in Indirect Procurement processes, managing scope, budget, timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder communications
- Drive cross-functional and cross-regional teams—including Procurement, Finance, and IT—to implement harmonized finance and procurement workflows
- Engage and influence senior leaders and C-level executives, ensuring transparent project governance and comprehensive reporting
- Implement globally consistent standards and best practices in Indirect Procurement, supporting broader business objectives
- Ensure transparency and accountability, maintaining project documentation, tracking progress, and reporting on KPIs and RAG status
- Support the broader project portfolio, including reporting, documentation management, and compliance with internal standards.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience leading complex transformation and transition projects in Indirect Procurement within a global corporate environment, preferably with a European footprint
- Strong finance knowledge combined with hands-on expertise in Indirect Procurement processes and related project management
- Proven ability to integrate multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams, aligning diverse priorities to achieve shared project goals
- Recognized project management credentials (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
- Familiarity with modern project management tools such as Wrike, Asana, Monday.com (a plus)
- A university degree (BSc or higher) in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or related fields
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills—especially in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
- A proactive, organized, and collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
