The Role
We're looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our team in Łódź, Poland. The Operations Specialists at Arrive are the face of the People & Culture team for any employee seeking support on people topics. You'll manage core People Operations functions, focusing on efficient HR administration, payroll, data management, and employee relations.
Reporting within the People Platform team, this specialist role is paramount to managing day-to-day People needs, maintaining HR data accuracy, ensuring smooth payroll processing, and legal compliance. You'll collaborate closely with the rest of the P&C organization as well as peer enablement teams (Finance, IT, etc.), playing a key role in supporting both employees and leadership, and contributing to our growth and People agenda.
Who You Are
You're an experienced People Operations professional with a strong understanding of Polish employment law and regulations. You're comfortable working autonomously, eager to learn about other regions, and dedicated to maintaining high standards in HR administration and data management. You thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and are committed to providing exceptional employee support.
Role Tasks & Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration: Managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely reconciliations. You'll collaborate with finance, legal, and payroll providers, handling complex queries and driving improvement projects.
Administrative and Compliance Support: Preparing and distributing essential HR documents (e.g., contracts, offer letters, addendums), maintaining organized personnel files, and ensuring documentation meets data protection standards.
Data Analytics and Reporting: Serving as a data steward, maintaining high-quality employee data in HRIS (experience with Workday is essential), and providing insights to leadership through monthly/quarterly workforce reports. You'll also lead data-driven projects to streamline reporting capabilities.
Project Management and People Initiatives: Leading or actively participating in global People & Culture projects, promoting cross-regional collaboration, and championing continuous improvement of People Operations processes.
Employee Support: Providing comprehensive support to employees and managers across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and serving as a resource for case management regarding payroll, benefits, and policy interpretation.
Regional Expertise and Compliance: Ensuring compliance of operational and payroll activities with local employment laws and regulations and providing ongoing guidance to managers and employees on regional HR compliance matters, including GDPR and labor law standards.
What You'll Bring
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced global organization.
Proficiency in Workday is required. Experience with other HRIS platforms is a plus
A full understanding of data security, the need for approvals, and correct procedures.
Experience supporting HR operational employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, changes, and offboarding.
The ability to diagnose and create solutions for employees and managers.
A collaborative work style, with the ability to operate independently when needed.
A detail-oriented and structured approach to your work.
Clear communication skills across functions and global geographies.
Fluency in English and Polish is essential; other languages are desirable but not required.
This role is based in Łódź, Poland.
