Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Production Planner to support our production planning and supply chain operations. This role involves managing and analyzing production data, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining accurate plans in our SAP/MRP system. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and a keen interest in production and supply chain efficiency.
ROLE & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules based on customer orders, forecast demand, and inventory levels.
2. Monitor production progress and update schedules as needed to reflect changes in priorities, delays, or resource availability.
3. Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
4. Analyze capacity and resource requirements to identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
5. Generate and maintain production reports, including work orders, schedules, and performance metrics.
6. Support inventory control efforts and help manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overages.
7. Communicate with internal teams to provide updates on production status and delivery timelines.
8. Participate in production planning meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY COMPETENCES
1. Familiarity with manufacturing processes or supply chain principles.
2. Organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
4. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
5. Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic work environments.
6. Prior exposure to international supply chain practices or project participation.
7. English at B1/B2 level
