HSE Specialist
Your responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of HSE strategies that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and update global HSE policies and procedures, as well as verify compliance with applicable global standards through audits at production sites.
- Collect, verify, and present global HSE performance data on a monthly basis and evaluate emerging trends and patterns.
- Search for best practices and progressive ideas in HSE both within and outside VELUX, to improve safety culture and support the development of global HSE training programs.
- Support companies in investigating HSE incidents, identifying root causes, and recommending preventive measures.
- Participate in the work of the central HSE Council and other working groups as appointed by the manager.
Our requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar HSE role, or 5 years as a local HSE Manager.
- Proven track record in implementing ISO 45001 safety management systems; knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 is advantageous.
- Experience in fostering a safety culture and building safety awareness by sharing knowledge and conducting trainings.
- Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills, as well as a high proficiency in reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management through communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and audits.
- Proven experience in project management.
