About This Role:
Join our Global Business Services (GBS) team for an exciting internship opportunity in Record to Report (RTR) operations, specifically supporting our Biogen Germany Affiliate. As an intern, you will play a vital role in our finance team, handling essential general ledger operations such as cash and treasury reconciliations, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activities, payroll, prepayments, accruals, and more. Your contributions will ensure accurate and timely reporting of all monthly and quarterly financial information, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, VAT, CIT, and other financial packages. This internship offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in international accounting while contributing to the financial success of our organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform general ledger operations for Biogen Germany Affiliate, including cash and treasury reconciliations, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, prepayments, and accruals.
- Record revenue and expenses accurately.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of monthly and quarterly financial information, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, VAT, CIT, and other packages.
- Calculate and post journal entries efficiently.
- Prepare various schedules and provide reporting of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial data.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations thoroughly.
- Perform monthly financial analysis.
- Provide data and explanations for auditors as needed.

Required Skills:
- University degree in Finance, preferably in Accountancy, last year of Bachelor or Master studies.
- Analytical mindset and strong analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of Office package.
- Experience in international accounting is an asset.
- German language proficiency is a significant asset.
Additional information
- It is a paid internship.
- This role requires an average of 6 office days per month at our location on Prosta 18 Street.
- Candidates should be available during office hours for 20 to 32 hours per week.
- Please note that applicants must hold a valid work permit and residency in Poland.
