We're looking for a Credit Control Assistant to support our clients in ensuring timely payments through proactive communication and account monitoring. The role involves working with financial data, resolving payment-related queries, and maintaining excellent customer relationships, mainly via phone and email. Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally on behalf of clients with finance departments and individuals - mainly by phone, supported by email - to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding issues.
- Monitor client ledgers proactively, performing credit checks and escalating payment concerns to senior staff when needed.
- Maintain and update accounting systems and produce regular reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).
- Handle inbound communication efficiently and deliver excellent customer service throughout all interactions.
- Support continuous improvement by assisting in query resolution and contributing to team collaboration.
Requirements
- Proficient in English at C1 level or higher, with confidence in leading conversations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with great attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving abilities and task prioritisation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
