What Impact You’ll Make: (Position Overview)
As a member of our Vernova Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations team, you will play a key role in developing and delivering standardization and enhancements to recruiting processes, ensuring compliance, leveraging data and analytics to measure impact and supporting optimization of TA tools and technologies. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape our Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise’s (CoE) future ways of working and through enablement elevate our stakeholder experience and recruitment delivery. You will partner with stakeholders across APAC region and provide support to other regions as needed. In addition, you will have global operational areas of expertise. You will be empowered to challenge the status quo, serve as decision maker, consult and collaborate with stakeholders and innovate to create and own implementation of new processes and/or process improvements.
What You’ll Do: (Key Responsibilities)
Apply systems thinking to drive adoption of TA standard work, optimization of recruiting processes and tools and a high level of data integrity.
Serve as the regional expert on TA enterprise standards as well as contribute to building any future refinements as our TA standard work matures.
Work in partnership with service delivery teams and stakeholders to contemporize the hiring experience with a solutions-oriented mindset; ensure TA teams are enabled and equipped for success and delivering high quality outcomes for stakeholders.
Lead large scale, complex, global initiatives and projects that evolve our Talent Acquisition capabilities and increase the value of our function.
Leverage your influencing skills and active listening to drive change and adoption.
Identify and implement opportunities that are ‘fit for purpose’ to gain efficiencies, improve stakeholder experience and increase speed through automation and simplification and elevate TA data hygiene.
Help shape strategy to standardize and streamline vital TA infrastructure elements; identify and implement to help ensure our Talent Acquisition CoE runs brilliantly
Create and maintain enterprise-wide TA standard work instructions applying lean methodologies.
Serve as a subject matter expert on select recruiting tools and technologies with deep understanding of features and functionality; support any tool testing and data validation as necessary.
Partner with internal HR technology team and external technology suppliers to create learning plans to strengthen user capabilities.
Contribute to the creation and support delivery of stakeholder training content to equip recruiters and people leaders with the know-how to hire top talent and drive organizational success; track adoption through data.
Collaborate with Indirect Sourcing team, TA Technology team and other internal stakeholders to identify, onboard and set up any new suppliers as needed
Manage existing relationships with key suppliers, build effective partnerships and drive and monitor supplier accountability, performance and compliance.
Build in-region partnerships with Legal and Compliance teams and establish regular rhythm to foster proactive awareness of and planning for any regulatory updates and review of compliance audit results and existing policies as needed.
Conduct data validation on various global TA COE metrics to ensure data accuracy and data quality at the highest level by helping to reinforce adherence to standard work across service delivery teams.
Respond to ad-hoc data requests in a timely manner ensuring that the data output is accurate and meets requestors’ needs.
Provide in-depth analysis and meaningful insights from data in an effective way to be used to make data-driven decisions.
Ensure country and local compliance and adherence to GE Vernova company policies, data privacy regulations and TA CoE enterprise standards/standard work.
Foster a culture of team, belonging, growth and continuous improvement.
Monitor the external TA landscape for best practices, trends and technology innovations and raise visibility of those that might be fit for purpose.
What You’ll Bring: (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent experience
Significant experience in Talent Acquisition including experience with Talent Acquisition operational focus in a global, fast paced environment
Deep understanding of full life cycle recruitment
Demonstrated experience driving adoption of processes/programs and successfully navigating stakeholders through change in a global, matrixed organization
Knowledge of and demonstrated hands-on experience applying basic lean principles
Experience in effective supplier relationship management
Demonstrated local/regional knowledge of government compliance requirements in region
Proficient experience with TA tools and technologies including Applicant Tracking Systems (i.e. Workday) and their reporting packages
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
Results-oriented with an analytical mindset and keen attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks in an organized manner, manage and complete multiple projects concurrently and adapt to shifting priorities all with strong attention to detail and thoroughness
Willingness to be on select calls across global time zones
Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% as required
Strong English language proficiency (speaking, writing and reading)
