About the role
We are currently seeking for statutory & tax specialist (France & Poland, Latvia region), who will support our finance teams (Account Payables, Account Receivables) as well as Finance Business Partners (FBPs) and Record to Report (RTR) team in day-to-day statutory & group reporting . This role will be critical for proper understanding, calculation and declaration of direct and indirect taxes, review and drafting of annual financial statement
What you will do
Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory accounts & financial reports (local GAAP), including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Support consolidation process of Everfield group financial statement based on IFRS reporting
Performs VAT reconciliation, declaration preparation and filing
Performs corporate tax accounting and monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly tax reporting activities, including deferred tax calculation, statistical reporting, corporate income tax
Completes period end close activities related to statutory and tax accounting and other financial accounting activities
Reviews accounts reconciliations, including balance sheet pack preparation and reconciliation between IFRS and local statutory accounts
Supports internal/external audits by preparing information as and when requested
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and adherence to accounting principles and regulations
Executes assigned process controls and proactively report any instances of noncompliance
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of tax & financial reporting activities
What we are looking for
Good French & English must have
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
Min. 5 years of experience in tax, statutory accounting, with a proven track of experience.
Good knowledge of French and Polish statutory rules/reporting
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge of Netsuite ERP software would be a strong asset, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive process improvements.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
