We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist (Temporary Cover) who speaks Czech/Slovak and English.

This is a temporary cover. You can be based in Prague or Brno or Decin or Wroclaw (PL). You will be part of the Procurement team looking after Air Products requirements in Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.

As our Sourcing Specialist, you will

• Develop, negotiate, implement and maintain procurement strategies for materials and services for various business areas of Air Products within Central Europe.
• Deliver annual cost savings as part of your objectives.
• Improve and simplify work processes on a continuous basis to eliminate waste from the process to drive productivity
• Resolve problems and issues arising from the Purchase of Services, Supplies and equipment with internal departments and vendors. Implement Service level reviews as required.
• Develop and manage relationship with internal customers and vendors; resolve any issues arising from purchases of services, supplies and equipment; implement service level reviews
• Report regularly on purchasing activities related to projects
• Ensure compliance with regional and global supply agreements
• Develop as a Procurement Subject Matter Expert (SME)

As the Sourcing Specialist, you already are or have

• Fluency in both English and Czech/Slovak (necessary)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or other discipline
• Experience in leading and developing sourcing strategies; understanding of purchasing terms and conditions and commercial acumen is required
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Self-starter, capable of taking ownership of issues and resolving them
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel is a must; SAP would be beneficial)
• Good communicator, analytical thinking, proactive approach, a team player
• Open travelling within the region and driving licence
