As the Sourcing Excellence Lead – PO, you will play a pivotal role in driving Sourcing Excellence initiatives and projects within Poland, as part of the Global Sourcing Excellence Organization. You will be responsible for maintaining a best-in-class sourcing practice by applying advanced sourcing processes, techniques, tools, and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Global Head Sourcing Excellence on strategic decisions, organizational priorities, and operational challenges.
- Analyze data and trends to provide insights, support decision-making, and develop action plans.
- Participate in executive meetings, track key performance metrics, and ensure follow-up on critical initiatives.
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects and initiatives from inception through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate regular progress reviews, identify roadblocks, and coordinate resources to maintain project momentum.
- Identify areas for process optimization, standardization, and improved workflow across various departments.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.
- Oversee the creation and management of dashboards, reports, and other tools for monitoring performance and accountability.
Leading Regional Sourcing Excellence Initiatives:
Analyze existing sourcing processes with a focus on supply chain and procurement inefficiencies, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Design and implement optimized sourcing processes that align with global standards and regional supply chain needs.
Process Improvement and Automation:
Utilize prompt engineering skills to enhance the automation and efficiency of sourcing and procurement processes.
Ensure that new processes deliver measurable benefits, such as cost reductions, improved efficiency, and enhanced sourcing outcomes.
Collaboration and Change Management:
Collaborate with Regional Management teams, including Supply Chain and Procurement Leads, to address deficiencies in sourcing practices.
Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of new sourcing processes, tools, and techniques.
Develop and execute change management strategies to support the successful implementation of new processes.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of sourcing and procurement processes.
Regularly report on process performance to Global Sourcing Excellence leadership.
Training and Development:
Provide training and support to sourcing and procurement teams on new processes, tools, and prompt engineering techniques.
Conduct onboarding sessions for new sourcers and procurement specialists, ensuring they are familiar with the company’s sourcing methodologies and tools.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Identify and mitigate risks associated with sourcing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and client standards.
Ensure that sourcing and procurement teams adhere to the company’s internal controls and standards.
Global Sourcing Excellence Initiatives:
Co-design and lead the implementation of global Sourcing Excellence initiatives, with a strong emphasis on procurement best practices.
Ensure that the company’s Sourcing Community operates according to the latest Target Operating Model (TOM), including clear roles, team setups, and communication strategies.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Regional Management, Regional Client Account Managers, and Global Sourcing Leads, to drive sourcing and procurement excellence initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Business English – good written and verbal communication skills; French or German are highly appreciated
Proven Experience and Expertise:
- Experience in Project Management with a strong Focus on Analytics, Processes and Tools. Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities.
- Expertise in prompt engineering and the application of AI-driven tools to enhance sourcing and procurement processes.
Leadership and Collaboration Skills:
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly within supply chain and procurement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
