Our Team
As a Senior Sourcing Engineer - Indirect Procurement, you will be a key contributor in managing and optimizing indirect procurement operations across Molex's European sites. This cross-divisional role focuses on enhancing system utilization, supporting category strategies, and driving procurement excellence through the Coupa Source-to-Pay (S2P) platform.
You will collaborate closely with Category Managers, local procurement teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that business needs are met efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with Molex's procurement principles.
What You Will Do
- Supporting local teams with training, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Monitoring key KPIs (e.g., catalog usage, contract spend, spend with preferred suppliers, level of after-fact POs, electronic invoicing) to identify improvement areas.
- Executing and supporting purchasing activities through Coupa while proactively resolving procurement issues and ensuring policy adherence.
- Engage with the business units to understand and support their procurement needs.
- Work closely with local and global Procurement, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to align sourcing strategies.
- Facilitate best practice sessions to promote knowledge sharing and stakeholder engagement.
- Support the implementation of category strategies within Coupa.
- Collaborate with Category Managers to align system execution with strategic goals.
- Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for compliance and cost optimization.
- Provide operational support for supplier onboarding, contract registration, and system navigation.
- Monitor procurement KPIs and support the achievement of regional and global targets.
- Deliver actionable insights and reports to Procurement Leadership and stakeholders.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally within a multinational environment.
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Solid understanding of procurement systems, with Coupa and SAP integration experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional European languages is an advantage.
