Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Benefits Operations Senior Manager to stand up and operate a global benefits support model within GPS to support our Total Rewards CoE Team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and management of operations and delivery of the organization’s comprehensive benefits programs. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in benefits administration, compliance, and team leadership. The Benefits Operations Senior Manager will ensure that all programs are delivered efficiently and effectively, aligned with the company’s objectives, while also ensuring a positive employee experience. This position involves collaboration with senior leadership, HR, and external partners to drive continuous improvement and benefits delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Stand up a new global benefits operational support team the drive and enable value for our wider People Team.
Lead the operational and administrative management of the organization’s benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other ancillary offerings.
Drive continuous improvement and the application of AI technologies to create efficiency in the work to build further capacity across the team.
Lead the expansion of the support model to drive global consistency, standardization, and optimization across the globe.
Develop the GPS Operational Benefits scorecard to report operational performance as well as developing and implementing a strategic roadmap to enhance value for the combined GPS & Total Rewards Teams.
Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory regulations and keep abreast of legislative changes that may impact benefits administration or delivery.
Manage a new team of globally dispersed colleagues to deliver consistent best in class performance for operational work.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Benefits Associates, Analysts, and Consultants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align benefits delivery strategies with business objectives and workforce needs.
Partner with Global Benefits COE, vendors, brokers, and consultants as needed to ensure optimal service delivery.
Oversee benefits communication and education initiatives to enhance employee understanding and engagement.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of benefits processes and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Continuously evaluate best practices and benchmark performance of the GPS benefits organization to align on future improvement opportunities
Advocate and lead the integration of automation and AI technologies across our work processes to consistently create capacity and efficiency.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
•Deep understanding of local benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
•Proven track record in leading benefits strategy and operations in a large, complex organization.
•Experience in delivering process efficiency and effectiveness that created value for you team.
•Experience in managing invoicing, leasing, transportation, vendor management and benefits administration management.
•Familiarity with benefits technology platforms and data analytics tools.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
•Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing talent.
•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and building relationships at all levels.
•Ability to build compelling business cases and proposals as well as synthesizing information into succinct reporting.
