About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for an experienced IT Analyst to help design and deliver technology solutions in the field of transaction monitoring and financial crime detection. You’ll be instrumental in translating business goals into system functionality and data capabilities, working alongside developers and architects in a complex, regulated environment.
This is a role for someone who combines analytical depth with strong communication skills, and who thrives in a structured yet fast-evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between business and tech teams by defining and refining solution requirements.
- Break down epics into features and user stories using Agile methodologies (SAFe framework).
- Collaborate on high-level solution design and help translate it into actionable development tasks.
- Conduct impact assessments for functional and non-functional changes.
- Ensure clear documentation in tools like Confluence and JIRA.
- Drive transparency and consistency throughout the requirements lifecycle.
- Support product teams working on financial crime platforms, including Quantexa.
Key Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in IT/system analysis, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Solid understanding of data flows, system integration, and business process mapping.
- Familiarity with tools/platforms such as Quantexa, Actimize, NetReveal, or Mantas.
- Proficiency with documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA).
- Practical knowledge of ETL, data modeling, data analytics, BPMN, and UML.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
- Formal certifications (e.g., IREB, IIBA, PMI-PBA, IQBBA).
- Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery models.
- Previous involvement in anti-money laundering (AML), compliance, or risk-related projects.
