We’re currently looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Global Finance team in the CEE region. In this role, you will be responsible for the Profit and Loss (P&L) for our Sales Companies in Poland and the Baltic countries (Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia).
You will act as a strategic business partner and trusted advisor to the Market Director, providing financial insights and recommendations that enhance performance, operational excellence, and long-term strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Market Director and Sales leadership team, providing actionable financial insights to support both day-to-day decisions and long-term strategic choices.
- Participate in sales leadership meetings, constructively challenging and guiding decisions with data-driven recommendations.
- Coordinate financial planning (monthly unit estimates, LE04 and LE08), budgeting, and forecasting in close collaboration with business units, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Analyze business performance to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable improvements to meet financial targets.
- Develop and monitor KPIs aligned with business strategy, supporting transparent and data-driven performance management.
- Margin Analysis – Monitor and analyze gross margin performance at different levels (product, client, channel). Identify margin erosion drivers (pricing, discounts, product mix, cost changes) and propose corrective actions to Sales and Marketing.
- Analyze revenue per customer and product line, as well as the financial impact of discounts, rebates, and promotional activities on overall profitability.
- Participate in cross-functional projects that enhance cost optimization, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Support global finance initiatives, process standardization and the implementation of best practices across regions.
- Support in shaping pricing strategies
- Analyze deviations from budget, forecast, and historical performance; explain key drivers and recommend corrective actions.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in finance, preferably in a Sales Company environment
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Fluency in English (spoken and written
- A good command of the Polish language is also required to ensure proper communication with the sales team
- Experience with SAP is welcomed but not mandatory
- Proficient communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and business leaders
- Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret even very small changes and fluctuations
- Ability to communicate financial insights in clear, non-financial language to business stakeholders
- A curious, initiative-driven, practical approach and problem-solving mindset
- Openness to building positive relationships and engaging in cross-functional collaboration
- High level of precision and responsibility in meeting deadlines and delivering results on time
- Willingness to occasionally travel for business
