The Role
You will play a key-role within Finance Team in Poland with responsibility for AR activities related to Global GV entities.
The main purpose of the job is:
- Lead and oversee customer account management, ensuring timely and effective communication regarding receivables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex collection issues and provide strategic guidance on process improvements.
- Analyze and present aging reports and outstanding balances to senior management, including risk assessments and action plans.
- Supervise and review account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
- Oversee the processing of receivable invoices and sales orders, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and manage the reconciliation of invoicing versus goods dispatched, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively.
- Act as a backup for the team leader during urgent situation or unplanned absences, ensuring continuity of operations and team support.
- Work on a rotating shift schedule: one week from 10:00 to 18:00, followed by one week from 14:00 to 22:00.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Word; ability to leverage tools for reporting and automation.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards; experience with audit preparation
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Minimum 3 years of experience
