Helprise.eu is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Senior Analyst on behalf of our business partner operating in the manufacturing sector. This role will be part of the Inventory Manufacturing finance function within an international shared services environment.
We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting operations, inventory processes, and financial reporting.
YOU WILL
- Perform Month-End Close (MEC) tasks for assigned manufacturing entities
- Complete account reconciliations in Blackline in line with internal deadlines
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
- Respond promptly to finance-related queries from local teams
- Provide support during internal and external audits (including SOX requirements)
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and local regulations
- Support monthly/quarterly/annual reporting (Balance Sheet & P&L flux analysis)
- Ensure accurate accounting of inventory, including standard and actual cost flows, valuation, capitalization, and cost roll-forwards
- Identify and support process improvements across accounting operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams
Requirements
- Strong analytical mindset and experience working with complex, interconnected financial tasks
- Advanced Excel skills – including pivot tables, lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), and large dataset management
- Proven experience using Blackline – admin-level experience is a plus
- Practical knowledge of Oracle JDE
- Familiarity with SOX compliance – including audit preparation and controls documentation
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, including:
- Inventory valuation and flow tracking
- Standard and actual costing
- MEC processes, account reconciliations, P&L and Balance Sheet review
