We invite you to become the Senior Accountant / Associate Financial Controller (VAT Expert) of the premix site of Poland and join the EMEA Financial Control & Accounting (FC&A) team. Our FC&A EMEA team of around 140 professionals is embarking on an exciting journey towards achieving ambitious goals, and we are seeking a talented individual who shares our passion for excellence and innovation.
You will have the opportunity to support as the VAT compliance expert for the premix site in Buk, Poland. Furthermore, you will be supporting the financial controller with the finance actuals, closing and reporting activities, all while building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities
- Preparing and leading VAT returns for the Polish entity.
- Being the point of contact for tax audits and local authorities.
- Reconciliation of VAT accounts, review and advise on the correct accounting of business transactions to ensure correct VAT records.
- Collaboration with other departments, including the Financial Shared Services, to reduce the risk of erroneous postings affecting VAT
- Verifying accuracy and completeness of SAP Concur reports and the accounting thereof.
- Other support to the financial controller to provide timely, complete, accurate and reliable financial reporting for the Polish premix site.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participation in ongoing projects to digitalize tax systems.
You bring
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Tax Compliance.
- >3 years of relevant work experience in Accounting and Tax Compliance and eager to learn more and grow;
- In-depth knowledge of VAT specifics and tax law regulations;
- Good understanding of transactional flows and accounting principles, to ensure efficient preparation of data for the completion of tax computations.
- SAP and Concur experience is essential;
- Knowledge and experience working in a Shared Service environment is a plus;
- A team-player with attention to detail and a critical and continuous improvement mindset;
- An ambitious and talented team player, who drives the change within the organization;
- A self-starter with excellent inter-personal skills and strong ability of stakeholder management;
- Fluent in Polish and English.
