How do we work?
You will be a key member of our global Finance and Accounting Department, and by cooperating closely with our Senior Accountants, Accounting Managers, and Financial Controllers, you will ensure that the organization’s financial statements are prepared in a timely and accurate manner. You will be reporting to the Assistant Global Controller.
We work in a hybrid model - we'd love to meet you in the office from time to time.
In this role, you will:
- Perform the accounting entries in line with the accounting/tax principles/group standard.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Payable to ensure prompt payment and assist accounts payable general ledger bookings when needed.
- Prepare of year-end documents and assist with the preparation financial statements, which are to be reviewed by external auditors.
- Be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of monthly reporting.
- Maintain schedules to support month end balances, such as prepayments, accruals, creditors, intercompany balances and assets.
- Assist in the preparation of spreadsheets for variance analysis on a monthly basis and send it for review.
- Support routine analysis of ledger accounts, verification of relevant ratios, identification of contradictions in budgets, make changes and provide appropriate reasoning for the same
- Help with ad-hoc projects concerned with the accounting function for the senior management as required.
What skillset do you need to be successful in this role?
- Min. 3 years' experience in Accounting, Financial Accounting or Financial Reporting area.
- Knowledge of US GAAP or other accounting principles.
- Fluent English.
- Ability to work afternoon shift (11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.).
- Proficient in accounting software and spreadsheet apps (MS Excel, Google Sheets).
- A team player with good communication abilities.
- Autonomy and excellent organisation skills.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in financial services / CFD trading / exchange or payment companies.
