Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

This role is contributing to the Robotics Division in Switzerland.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Building and Maintaining Customer Relationships: Identification and support of key and existing customers at all levels, including representing ABB to the customer and taking full responsibility for all customer communication
Business Development: Analysis of customer needs, derivation and implementation of appropriate strategies to achieve targets, as well as identification and creation of customer value in close coordination with the sales team.
Market and Competitor Analysis: Continuous monitoring of market and competitive conditions to identify sales opportunities and ensure targeted market presence.
Collaboration with Internal Departments: Close coordination with global key account managers and internal departments for proposal preparation, presentations, and execution of sales negotiations.
Qualifications for the role:
Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
At least five years of sales experience in the fields of robotics and machine/factory automation.
Ideally, experience working with system integrators, OEMs, and sales partners in the robotics sector, gained through extensive, specialized professional experience.
In-depth knowledge of automation solutions, cross-industry application expertise, artificial intelligence, digital partnerships, and modern manufacturing technologies.
Strong knowledge of the regional robotics market and familiarity with ABB Robotics products is desirable.
Confident use of analytics and sales tools is required; experience with Salesforce.com is an advantage.
Fluent in German and English.
