NIQ is seeking a Regional Sales Leader for the EMEA business of our Global Tech and Durables clients headquartered in North America. This an exciting role that combines sales skills with deep industry knowledge and NIQ products and services to drive value at our clients and meet/exceed NIQ commercial goals.
The Regional Sales Leader is responsible for all commercial activities related to their designated North A merica Global accounts and accountable for meeting the regional commercial sales targets. The Regional Sales Leader closely collaborates with the Global Account Director, the local Sales teams, as well as Client Success teams to achieve the commercial objectives for their NA HQ accounts.
Responsabilities:
- Align key customer priorities with NIQ’s capabilities, identify and convert opportunities to deepen commercial relationships, drive additional revenue, and surpass annual regional sales targets.
- Responsible for bringing the full portfolio of NIQ solutions to the EMEA stakeholders for the NA headquartered global clients.
- Ensure effective pipeline management with robust pipeline activity to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets, and expand to new client persona’s at a regional and local level.
- Grow the EMEA business within the NA HQ Global accounts via contract renewals; plan and respond to client pitch requests.
- Regular communication and close collaboration with local sales associates to ensure overall progress on global client engagement and commercial goals
- Engage at all levels, understand client business strategies, objectives, and growth opportunities, and work with Client Success associates to translate these into actionable insights using NielsenIQ services and solutions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, expanding NIQ awareness with decision influencers, and maintain C-suite level relationships to enhance upsell opportunities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of client and market key trends by using NIQ tracking and consumer data to identify and develop growth opportunities.
- Communicate NIQ thought leadership and innovations to clients.
- Identify potential problems and propose pro-active solutions to meet client needs.
Your profile:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience with research techniques and solutions in Tech & Durables, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics, or similar fields.
- Proven track record of delivering commercial targets
- Experience in scoping and developing proposals and negotiation strategies.
- Excellent awareness of EMEA market conditions and client business environments.
- Effective senior-level communication, influencing, and presentation skills
- Strong client focus, focus to close deals, and result-orientation.
- Good interpersonal and relationship building skills (internal, external, and cross-cultural)
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels within internal and external organization.
Preferred Skills/Traits
- Preferable knowledge of consumer electronics market, market research, marketing, product development.
- Work experience at a consumer electronics manufacturer or experience in the consumer goods industry
- Understanding of NIQ solutions to translate client needs into NIQ’s product portfolio
