Title and Summary
Regional Director, Cyber Security Business Growth (Southeast Europe) Services are a key differentiator for Mastercard, delivering cutting-edge solutions that help our customers grow. Built on data-driven technologies and innovation, our offerings span consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business experimentation, and information and risk management. Today, Mastercard has evolved into a comprehensive technology and services platform, expanding into security, loyalty, personalisation, and advanced data analytics to help banks, merchants, and governments deliver smarter, more secure, and highly personalised customer experiences.Security in particular is a core part of this mission, and Mastercard has grown into a leading global cybersecurity vendor. With the rise of digital commerce, security challenges have become more complex. Cyber threats now extend beyond individual transactions to entire digital ecosystems, requiring a broader approach to protection. Recognising this, Mastercard strengthened its cybersecurity offerings through strategic acquisitions, beginning with Risk Recon in 2019 and more recently Recorded Future, a global leader in threat intelligence. These additions enable Mastercard to offer solutions such as advanced cyber risk assessment and real-time threat intelligence, helping clients safeguard their entire digital footprint—not just the payments themselves.
