Record to Report Senior Accounting Specialist with German or French

Join Amer Sports to drive accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance across our international entities. As a Senior Accounting Specialist in our Record to Report (RtR) team, you will lead journal entries, period-end closings, and statutory reporting while collaborating with global stakeholders to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our finance operations.

What you will be doing:

• Lead period-end closing activities and prepare statutory and financial reports for assigned entities.
• Perform and review journal entries in accordance with IFRS and internal policies.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data in SAP Finance and reporting tools.
• Assist with internal and external audits and maintain SOX compliance.
• Identify process improvements, maintain documentation, and collaborate with PtP, OtC, and Controlling teams.
• Support the team lead and mentor junior team members while following Amer Sports policies.

What you need to succeed:

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or financial reporting, ideally in an international environment.
• Experience in statutory reporting is essential; Big Four audit or advisory experience is a plus.
• Fluent in German or French and English (B2), written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in SAP Finance and MS Excel; experience with Blackline or similar reconciliation tools is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
