Record to Report Accounting Assistant

If yes – great! We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to support our Record to Report (R2R) operations within the Intercompany team.

You will be a part of our GBS Finance team, supporting financial processes across EMEA and North America. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will develop your knowledge in R2R, closing activities, intercompany reconciliation and more.

What you will be doing:

• Support monthly and yearly financial closing processes:
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing tasks according to group schedule
  • Assist the Reporting team in preparing timely statutory closings
  • Support interim and year-end audits
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations:
  • Process intercompany documents (Budgeted, Actuals, True-ups, Ad-hoc) timely and accurately
  • Reconcile intercompany balances
  • Prepare reconciliations in Blackline for Intercompany accounts
• Ensure data quality and issue resolution:
  • Communicate with customer service, sales organizations, and Financial Controllers to resolve discrepancies
  • Adhere to internal control procedures and company policies
• Contribute to continuous improvement:
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements
  • Participate in other accounting tasks and projects as needed

What you need to succeed:

• Ongoing or completed studies in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Availability of at least 30 hours per week.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn.
• Collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills.
