- Ensure models meet engineering standards and are compatible with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define and maintain specifications for reusable parts.
- Support the integration of 3D models into the central PLM repository and ensure alignment with global standards.
- Assist factories in implementing standardized components and accessories.
- Analyze part data and attributes, classify them appropriately, and validate against global specifications.
- Participate in the migration and cleansing of legacy standards into the central repository.
- Provide operational support for classification and attribute selection of standard parts.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality teams to verify mapping of global standards to supplier products.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define classification structures and attributes.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in PTC Creo for 3D modeling is essential.
- Familiarity with PLM systems such as PTC Windchill is a plus.
- Strong understanding of international standards (ISO, DIN, IEC, IEEE, ANSI).
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills across global teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in the transformer industry or similar mechanical engineering domains is preferred.
- Experience with Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes is a plus.
