Branchspace’s mission is to be the most forward thinking and trusted technology partner for airlines and other travel companies to break barriers of legacy systems technology and thinking and create better ways to plan, book and experience travel.
We are seeking an experienced Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and support building Triplake, a mission-critical and enterprise-quality SaaS platform which powers several global airline brands today and enables millions of travel bookings and related services each year. It stands out in the market for its flexibility and coverage of the end-to-end customer travel journey. The tech stack is primarily Java and React-based with our services deployed into AWS as managed containers.
You’d become part of about 50 people sized engineering team made up ofSoftware Engineers, Product Owners, QA Engineers, DeliveryManagers, DevOps Engineers, Application Support Specialists TechnicalArchitects and Solution Architects.
Our team utilises Scrum framework to deliver robust product releases every 2 weeks and are on a journey to support efficient releases on a daily basis and continuous delivery.
What the
role involves
- Maintenance and accountability for the implementation of a comprehensive QA strategy across the organisation, aligning quality initiatives with business goals. This includes competencies such as manual testing, test automation (unit, integration, API, UI), load& performance testing, security testing, etc.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performingQA team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
- Design and maintain robust test frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner closely with Product Teams to deliver testable, observable, and high-quality solutions.
- Evolve and ensure effective review of quality metrics to guide decision-making and encourage continuous improvement.
- Oversee test planning, execution, and validation processes to ensure release readiness, including coordination oftest environments, monitoring test coverage, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Continuously assess and refine processes, identifying areas for optimization and innovation.
What experience is required
- Demonstrated experience as a LeadQA Engineer or Senior QA Engineer with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (preferably Playwright, k6, and BitbucketPipelines).
- In-depth knowledge of various testing methodologies and levels, including unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, security, and exploratory testing.
- Proven track record in leading or contributing to QA transformation initiatives, including quality ownership across developers, team enablement, and the rollout of standardized QA practices across the organization.
- Experience working in Agile, collaborating with cross-functional Product Teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
