Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
As part of our ongoing commitment to safety and operational excellence, we are seeking a dedicated professional to manage the Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) documentation for our construction activities.
Job description As the RAMS Documentation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all construction works are planned and executed in strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive RAMS documentation, supporting the project’s risk management processes, and ensuring that all site-specific hazards are identified and controlled.
Your responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and maintain site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all construction activities in accordance with project and legal requirements
- Ensure all RAMS documentation addresses project number, project name, site location, access arrangements, and includes all required approvals and revision tracking
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and define practical control measures tailored to planned construction activities, prioritizing significant risks
- Collaborate with project managers, technical supervisors, and site teams to ensure RAMS are understood, implemented, and updated as necessary
- Integrate COSHH information, environmental impact controls, and welfare arrangements into RAMS documentation
- Oversee the documentation of pre-task and post-task requisites, including site inductions, permits, site rules, and handover procedures
- Maintain accurate records of personnel involved, equipment, materials, and PPE requirements for each activity
- Conduct dynamic risk assessments on site and update RAMS as needed to reflect new or changing hazards
- Ensure all RAMS documentation is authorized by relevant project leaders and technical supervisors in line with FIDIC requirements
- Provide RAMS briefings to site teams and ensure all personnel acknowledge understanding and compliance
Your profile:
- Academic background in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing RAMS documentation or similar safety management systems within large-scale infrastructure or construction projects
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Proficiency with documentation management tools and MS Office Suite; familiarity with safety management software is an advantage
- Experience with COSHH, environmental impact assessments, and welfare arrangements in construction environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of FIDIC contract requirements and European health & safety legislation is a plus
