Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting career opportunity for a Junior Associate in the Banking & Finance (Project & Structured Finance) Practice at our Warsaw office.
Job Requirements:
Drafting and Reviewing Documents : Assist in preparing draft finance documents (including security documents), legal opinions, direct agreements, escrow agreements, pay-off letters, standstill agreements and documents relating to satisfaction of conditions precedent under the supervision of senior associates or partners.
Transactional Support : Assist in advising clients on a variety of banking and finance transactional matters.
Contract Negotiation : Support negotiations of finance documentation on behalf of clients.
Transaction Closings : Support transaction closings, including preparation of checklists and post-closing formalities.
We expect:
A Master’s degree in law.
Being admitted to the Advocate or Attorney-at-Law Bar as a trainee is a plus.
1-2 years of relevant work experience advising clients in the Banking & Finance sector.
Very good command of spoken and written Polish and English.
Willingness to take on responsibility and demonstrate ownership of tasks.
Excellent writing and analytical skills.
Very good organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and a “can-do” attitude.
