Junior Transportation Finance Specialist
Kongsberg Maritime CM Sp. z o.o. – SSC Global Supply Chain is looking for Junior Transportation Finance Specialist to join our Logistic Team in Krakow.
In this role, you will review invoices from transportation partners to ensure costs are in line with agreed conditions.
The role requires carrier management for invoice and payment related issues.
Key accountabilities:
- Compare freight invoices with contracted rates and other data sources to identify discrepancies and overcharges
- Make sure all incoming invoices are processed in a timely manner and carriers are paid on time
- Chase up invoices from the carriers for shipments carried out
- Take a quick action in case there are any issues to avoid late payments
- Make sure carriers are informed of any actions that are pending on them with clear instructions
- Ensure that for re-occurring issues root causes are identified, and required action is taken
- Perform analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel
- Address carrier email queries promptly
- Cooperation with internal customers and transportation partners to create a good working relationship, while performing the highest level of service
- Handle ad hoc tasks as needed
Qualifications and experience:
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience working in a global organization is preferred
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent English (min B2)
- Detail-oriented and systematic
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work independently with effective problem solving
- Capable of prioritizing tasks
